This is a nice little rig with all the goodies I need and priced right. Prices are starting to come down a little bit.

mildly concerning that they don’t even mention the HP of the out board or its condition.

True. But people tend to be lazy. That’s my hope. Sent an email. We’ll see what happens.

Is it just me, or does it look like the HP stickers are missing from the motor?
Has me thinking he’s trying to conceal that he may have it unlawfully over powered.

It’s so small and light it likely planes with the thrust from the trolling motor.

You’ve got me wondering what the comparable
rates are
between Packard and fishing boat prices
per foot.

My boat is. meh. its a 55hp on a 50 hp cert, but frankly at my elevation im putting out 40 hp at best which is why it was specd that way (built here as well)

We owned a Bayliner once... They’re about the cheapest built boat there is out there. That’s not to say you can’t enjoy one, but it is important to approach a Bayliner from the understanding that they are utterly disposable boats. This one is from the era when Bayliner was just beginning to up the quality a bit from the utter crap they built in the 80's and 90's. We bought an 19 89 19ft Bayliner in 1991. Despite meticulous maintenance, gentle use and always being stored under cover, the boat was completely used up by 1997.
This price seems a little bit rich for a Bayliner, but not completely insane. We’re this a Sea Ray/ Larson/Fourwinns/ ect. of the era with low enough hours , it would probably be priced about right.

I’m aware of Bayliner’s rep. What I’m most concerned about is the floor and the transom. This is below NADA for my area. Most of the money is tied up in the motor and trailer, honestly. That size and vintage should be around 7-8K. I think I could flip it.

Flipping a Bayliner, any Bayliner, might be a really tough sell. If you could get this for $ 2-3k trade- in value, maybe.

The fuel economy on this will be terrible.
You should get a canoe instead!

I have paddle boards for fuel economy.

I guess if you’re looking to flip it, it’s not worth spending a few bucks to have a marine surveyor look at it. Are you worried about delamination? I’d hit the Bayliner owner forums if you haven’t already and get the skinny on this year and model.
